Job Overview

The Senior Tax Associate role will primarily involve working in the corporate tax group; reviewing US Corporate and Partnership tax returns along with the associated underlying calculations applying US tax concepts, carrying out research to provide technical solutions and deliverables for clients, preparing budgets, working on tax advisory projects, corresponding with clients and guiding and supporting more junior team members in their professional and personal growth.

You will be involved in the research of US tax concepts, will demonstrate technical knowledge in US tax applicable to your grade and follow the developments in US taxation and relevant technology. You will be provided with opportunities to get involved with our clients' businesses to develop your advisory and leadership skills.

Requirements

Qualified CPA or EA. Experience working on US tax partnership return Form 1065 and preparation of Schedules K-1 and K-3 for partners in such partnerships. Previous exposure to and understanding of investment funds / asset management industry. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and communicate clearly. Experience with major tax preparation software for example CCH Axcess software. An understanding of forms 8865, 926 and 8621 is preferred.
