We're offering an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to join our International Finance team as a US Finance Manager.
The Finance Manager role is designed specifically to provide financial accounting and tax reporting support in relation to our growing United States market entry.
Along with the core accounting and tax elements, there will be a significant focus on the development of internal reporting and cost control tools to provide insight and understanding to the senior leadership team responsible for the US performance. The Finance Manager will be expected to liaise with the wider finance team and other business support functions to enable those functions to make informed business decisions

Key Responsibilities:
Production of the US month-end financial reporting pack for Group reporting.
US GAAP adjustments and month-end reporting.
Development and implementation of a monthly financial reporting pack for non-finance members of the US senior leadership team.
Review of the monthly lead schedules produced by the US Management Accountant.
External state regulatory reporting.
Quarterly US Group transfer pricing and capitalisation accounting.
Monthly sales and used tax compliance.
Annual Federal tax compliance.
Managing the year-end audit process.
Assistance with the implementation of the new WIB CRM platform and associated reporting requirements.
Involvement in the annual budget and reforecasting process.
Other ad-hoc tasks, projects and support as required.
Skills and experience required:
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices be able to make sound day to day accounting decisions, solve accounting issues and problems and recommend solutions.
Qualified or nearly qualified accountant with previous experience of financial or management accounting experience preferably has been exposed to tax reporting (US tax reporting experience is helpful, but not a requirement).
Highly experienced in Microsoft Excel with has strong analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Clear written and oral communication skills,
High attention to detail and have strong organisational skills.
Experience of Workday is desirable but not essential
Previous experience from a global insurance or regulated financial service background would be ideal but not essential.
