Overview:
We're looking for a User Experience (UX) Design Manager who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and execution. Whether you're an experienced leader or a senior designer ready to step into management, this role offers the opportunity to shape user experiences that are simple, effective, and delightfully innovative.
You'll work closely with Product Management to translate customer insights into intuitive design solutions, while also mentoring designers and contributing directly to design work when needed.
Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire a small team of UX designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and excellence.
Partner with Product Managers to deeply understand customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints.*
Translate insights into clear design direction, wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys.
Champion simplicity and usability across all touchpoints, advocating for elegant solutions to complex problems.
Roll up your sleeves and contribute as an individual designer when needed--whether sketching ideas or refining final visuals.
Facilitate design reviews, critique sessions, and cross-functional workshops to drive alignment and quality.
Mentor designers and help shape their growth through coaching, feedback, and career development.
Continuously evolve our design processes, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and impact.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in UI/UX Product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex, multi-platform solutions.
Degree in UX Design or relevant professional experience.
Proven ability to design for technical users of SaaS, B2B and B2C platforms.
Strong portfolio demonstrating UX design excellence across large web and/or windows applications.
Experience working closely with Product Management and Engineering in agile environments.
Comfortable managing ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills--able to articulate design rationale to diverse audiences.
Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
Experience conducting user research or usability testing
Passion for accessibility and inclusive design
Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship role is a plus, but not essential.
