Job Description

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, effective, and timely transition of adult IBD patients to the cost-saving biosimilar. This role is integral to our Trust's financial sustainability.



Key responsibilities include:



Leading the end-to-end delivery of the biosimilar switch project.



Developing detailed timelines and creating reusable project templates for future switches.



Managing complex patient and provider queries independently.



Overseeing the administrative processes related to prescription transfer, including resolving failed switches.



Educating and supporting the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure seamless communication and implementation.



Collaborating with homecare providers to support patient transitions and troubleshoot logistics.

A qualified, registered pharmacy technician with experience in hospital pharmacy settings.



Strong project management and communication skills.



Confidence in handling sensitive patient communications and troubleshooting medication issues.



Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
