- we are aiming to recruit 2 Tax Associates seeking their first professional role within the sector, as part of our commitment to develop tomorrow's next generation of US-UK tax professionals. You will receive support to gain Enrolled Agent qualifications during the first 12 months of your employment and to complete the Association of Taxation Technicians qualification within the following 18 months. There would be regular reviews of progress throughout the programme, in line with existing processes, and this might lead to career progression as Snr Tax Associate on completion of 24 months in the programme.
The role - Tax Associate within the Private Client Team in London
- As a US-UK Tax Associate you will be receiving on the job training, and be supported to gain relevant professional qualifications, while assisting in the delivery of US and US-UK tax services for clients with multi-jurisdictional and trust considerations.
You will be preparing a range of calculations and documentation utilised in various US-UK tax forms and returns. The role also entails gathering data for correspondence, including clients and tax authorities; using initiative to learn technical solutions and deliverables for clients, while learning workpaper documentation. You will also have the opportunity to utilise research skills and draft advice for clients on an ad hoc basis. You will be using software tools to manage time and understand budgets. Along senior members of the team you will attend clients' meetings and industry events to further advance your business development skills.
The role will include a hybrid working arrangement with a centrally located London office.

The Early Careers Scheme is open to candidates who are new entrants to the profession, mainly recent graduates ideally with an accounting/business background, and possibly up to six months of experience in a professional environment.
