Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Utilities / Maintenance Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a good knowledge of basic construction, plumbing and decorating tasks and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance and repair work. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and is committed to delivering a high standard of workmanship. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all repairs, decoration works and projects are completed efficiently.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs on facilities, including basic plumbing, basic electrical, decoration and carpentry tasks. Supervise specific projects as required. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are safe to use. Read and interpret drawings to complete tasks accurately. Provide excellent customer service by addressing Management needs and concerns promptly. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance activities.

Skills

Extensive knowledge related to building maintenance and repair. Proficient in basic electrical systems, plumbing, decoration and carpentry skills. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Strong problem-solving abilities with logical reasoning skills. Fluent in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication.

The option to work a minimum of 30 hours to a maximum of 40 hours is available.

Pay: 19,048.00-25,396.00 per year
