Turner & Townsend alinea is currently recruiting for a Utilities Consultant / Engineer within our Real Estate team to help support our blue-chip real estate and data centre clients, with project values ranging from millions to billions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Advising and driving best value on utility install projects for our clients.
Managing contractors, consultants and other advisors on real estate and utilities projects.
Attend meetings, prepare financial reports and monitor on the status of projects.
Ensure projects remains on budget from design to completion phase.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, maintaining the highest standards of professional competence at all times.
Utilisation of the existing Turner & Townsend alinea developed digital tools and contributing to the creation of new and bespoke tools for delivery of engineering services
Support junior team members to deliver our client service efficiently and effectively.
Client-facing and enthusiastic about the industry.
Qualifications
Experience of utilities project management, including water, gas, electricity, and telecommunications
Experience of procurement and managing NEC contracts
Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other advisors on real estate and utilities projects
Experience of high value and complex projects gained in a consultancy environment.
First class communicator, capable of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.
Working towards a professional qualification
Degree or HND qualification in a construction, real estate, engineering or utilities related subject, or equivalent experience
