Job Description

We have an opportunity for a

hands-on, experienced and focused Utilities Supervisor / Electrician.



You will be a qualified and competent electrician with the ability to install and test electrical installations but will also be responsible for supervising the electricians and gas engineers who carry out maintenance works to our accommodation, main buildings and private underground infrastructure as well as having an active role in carrying out works tasks, whilst prioritizing and assigning works to the team.

Reporting to the Estates Manager your responsibilities will include supervising a small multi-skilled team on a day-to-day basis, providing feedback and monitoring performance whilst maintaining excellent records on individual job status, ensuring that resources and materials are available to complete the task.

Ensuring our park accommodation, buildings and infrastructure is maintained to the correct standards and tested as per our current policy, carrying out repairs to our own accommodation, buildings, and infrastructure as well as that of holiday homeowners on park as ad when required.

Coordinating the testing and inspection of all specialists' electrical systems such as fire alarms and security alarms, barrier systems etc.

You will occasionally be expected to assist our other holiday parks and provide guidance when required.

Our requirements:

Excellent communication skills, providing technical advice to solve problems and a high level of health and safety competency is essential.

Applicants must have complete and up to date knowledge of Health & Safety, and have previous supervisory experience in a similar role.

A full driving licence is essential.

Must have Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification (e.g., NVQ Diploma 2357 or 2365) combined with the Achievement Measurement 2 (AM2) practical assessment, and a current 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) qualification or other suitable equivalent qualifications

This is a permanent position working 42.5 hours per week over 5 days. Hours and days may vary depending on business needs, and will include evening, weekend and bank holiday working.

Pay: Up to 44,275.00 per year
