Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Utility Surveyor with proven experience in delivering surveys in accordance with PAS 128 standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting infrastructure, construction, and development projects by providing accurate underground utility mapping and ensuring compliance with industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake utility surveys in line with PAS 128 specifications. Operate and manage survey equipment including GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar), and GPS/Total Stations. Collect, process, and interpret survey data to produce clear and accurate drawings. Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver survey outputs on time and to specification. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across all survey activities. Contribute to continuous improvement of survey methodologies and reporting.
Requirements

Demonstrable experience in PAS 128-compliant utility surveys. Strong knowledge of underground utility detection techniques and equipment. Proficiency in CAD and survey data processing software. Excellent communication skills for technical reporting and client liaison. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites. Relevant qualifications in surveying, civil engineering, or geospatial disciplines (preferred but not essential). Relevant CSCS/CPCS cards
