Job Description

We're looking for a

hands-on, detail-focused individual

to join our small team as a

UV Printer Operative

. This role involves

printing personalised designs onto a variety of products

using our state-of-the-art UV printer. It's not just pressing a button -- you'll be setting up artwork files, running test prints, troubleshooting small issues, and ensuring each item is printed to a high standard.

You'll be working in a fast-paced, creative environment where accuracy, pride in your work, and a good level of

computer confidence

are essential.

What You'll Be Doing:

Preparing and setting up personalised artwork using templates Operating the UV printer (training provided) Troubleshooting minor printing errors (e.g. alignment, ink issues) Performing basic maintenance (e.g. cleaning print heads) Working with a range of products including slate, metal, acrylic, and wood Quality checking every item before dispatch Editing artwork and text on personalised products Coordinating with the wider team to ensure smooth production flow

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has

basic computer skills

and can pick up new systems quickly Enjoys

problem solving

and takes ownership when things go wrong Is

very detail-oriented

- you'll be producing personalised items people have paid for Works well under pressure and can meet deadlines Has a "get stuck in" attitude and is happy to help the team when needed Ideally has some experience with printing, design software, or manufacturing (but not essential as training will be provided)

Bonus If You Have:

Experience using UV printers (e.g. Mimaki, Roland, Mutoh, etc.) Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar Previous experience in a print room or personalised gift business
