We're looking for a
Graduate UX/UI Designer
who can take ownership of our web and product design foundations -- someone who understands systems, consistency and usability, and can apply them confidently across real, production-level websites.
The Role
This role is primarily focused on
designing and building modern, scalable websites
.
You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining
consistent design systems
, designing high-quality web experiences in
Figma
, and translating complex ideas into clear, accessible digital interfaces for young people.
While this is a graduate role, it is
not a passive or purely learning position
. We're looking for someone who already understands UX/UI fundamentals and can apply them independently within a clear framework.

What You'll Do
UI Design & Design Systems
Design and maintain a consistent
design system
(components, styles, typography, spacing)
Build reusable components and libraries in
Figma
Ensure visual and interaction consistency across all web platforms
Apply modern UI trends while maintaining usability and performance
UX Design
Design clear user flows and page structures for content-heavy websites
Simplify complex information related to careers, money and life
Apply user-centred thinking to improve navigation, hierarchy and comprehension
Website Design (Primary Priority)
Design high-fidelity website pages and templates in
Figma
Create responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile
Design landing pages, content hubs and campaign websites
Prepare designs clearly for developer handoff
Iteration & Quality
Review and refine designs to maintain high standards
Apply feedback quickly and pragmatically
Ensure designs are accessible, scalable and production-ready
Collaboration
Work closely with developers, content and product teams
Clearly communicate design decisions and rationale
Maintain clear documentation within Figma
What We're Looking For
A degree (or equivalent experience) in
UX/UI Design, Product Design, Digital Design or similar
A
strong portfolio
showing modern website design and system-based thinking
Proven ability to design
consistent design systems
(student, freelance or personal projects accepted)
Strong proficiency in Figma
(required)
Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility and web standards
Ability to work independently within defined goals and constraints
High attention to detail and consistency
Essential:
Confidence designing production-level websites in Figma
Ability to think in systems, not just individual screens
Bonus:
Understanding of how designs translate into HTML/CSS
Experience designing for content-heavy or youth-focused platforms
