Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Vaccinator to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in administering vaccinations to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. This position is essential in supporting public health initiatives and contributing to the wellbeing of the community.

Responsibilities

Administer vaccines to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of vaccines and medical supplies. Monitor patients post-vaccination for any adverse reactions and provide appropriate care as needed. Maintain accurate records of vaccinations administered, including patient information and vaccine details. Educate patients about the benefits of vaccination and address any concerns they may have. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless vaccination process. Uphold hygiene standards and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

Valid nursing or medical qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant) with relevant licensure. Previous experience in administering vaccinations or working in a clinical setting is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain medical procedures clearly to patients. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in record-keeping. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanour. A compassionate approach towards patient care, with a strong commitment to public health initiatives.
