IMMEDIATE MANAGER: Valeting Services Manager


About the Role:


As a Valeting Support Manager you will support our Contract Managers in growing and maintaining high-performing valeting operations. This is a hands-on role focused on operational excellence, compliance, and maintaining the highest brand standards through regular site visits, coaching, and audits.


This role is field based in: Lockerbie, Carlisle/South Scotland and Penrith.


Key Responsibilities:


Support, coach, and train site teams to deliver exceptional results and uphold company standards.
Conduct daily checks across assigned sites to ensure compliance and performance consistency.
Carry out quarterly SAS (Safety and Standards) visits within your region.
Deliver and coordinate training sessions for new valeting site launches.
Attend key site meetings and contribute to continuous operational improvement.
Manage two operational regions, including:
4 days per week visiting 4-5 stores daily auditing.
Availability to work two weekends per month as part of the rota.
1 day per week dedicated to development, SAS, and reviews with the Head of Valeting.
Flexibility to adapt to operational requirements.
Review declined work orders and follow up on action points.
Participate in weekly Regional Teams calls.
Complete 3 contractor audits and 4 near-miss reports per quarter.
Undertake overnight stays as required to support site visits and operational needs.


Requirements:


Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in retail or valeting operations is advantageous but not essential.
Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Strong diary and time management abilities.
Willingness to travel extensively and work flexibly to meet business demands.


Overview:


The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong coordination across departments, proactive risk management, and consistent communication with stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Planning:
Define project goals, scope, timelines, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans and allocate resources effectively to achieve objectives.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
Build and maintain strong relationships across departments to coordinate responsibilities, ensure task completion, and promote collaboration. Serve as the primary liaison between the project team and stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication and alignment with business goals.
Budget Management:
Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring expenditures remain within allocated funds.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks, assess their impact, and develop effective mitigation or resolution strategies to minimize project disruption.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Track project progress, monitor milestones, and prepare regular reports on project status, issues, and solutions for stakeholders and leadership.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all project deliverables meet required quality standards and align with client and organizational expectations.
Change and Adaptability:
Manage project changes as they arise, adapting plans and strategies as necessary to keep projects on track and deliver successful outcomes.


Qualifications & Skills:


Proven experience in project management or related field
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proficiency in project management tools and software
Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and implement solutions
Adaptable and proactive in fast-paced, changing environments
