Value Added Team Leader

Are you currently an operative looking for a step up or do you have factory experience and want a new challenge?
Brown Brothers is seeking to appoint a Value Added Team Leader to support the daily running of the Value Added High - Risk area. The purpose of this role is to ensure productivity, maintain product quality, and supervise staff while upholding high standards of traceability, hygiene, throughput, and Health & Safety. You will work closely with the Value Added Manager to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Location: Kelloholm, DG4 6RB
Hours: Monday - Friday (6am - 2pm)
Pay: 13.10 after completion of successful training
Responsibilities:
Staff Supervision:
Motivate and support the team, maintain strong working relationships, and communicate issues to the Supervisor.Health & Safety:
Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety procedures, including allergen and specification controls.Hygiene:
Maintain high hygiene standards in the slicing area, operating a "clean as you go" system.Wastage:
Ensure all waste materials are disposed of correctly and hygienically.Quality Control:
Identify and report any non-conforming product to the Supervisor.Packaging:
Ensure products are packed on time, to customer specification, at the correct temperature. Check bag seals regularly and liaise with Despatch. Provide clear handovers to Backshift.Paperwork:
Complete all associated administration accurately and promptly.Targets & Efficiency:
