Salary up to \xc2\xa352k
Vickerstock are working in partnership with a global manufacturer of precision products for the recruitment of a Value Stream Manager. You will be responsible for leading and developing your team ensuring performance is ahead of budget.
Your new role
- Develop and implement value improvement through ownership of CI, ensuring a clear CI action plan is developed and implemented
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships across the entire business in order to foster teamwork and collective accountability.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through on time delivery to the highest levels of quality.
- Ensuring product quality, process quality and responsiveness
- Ensure the delivery of production plans by having the right people in the right place
- Ownership of all appropriate business tools and metrics, ensuring that they are used with maximum impact to drive Value Stream performance
- Leadership and development of your team
- Appraisals, feedback and development plans in place
- Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Experience of leading and managing a team
- Strong knowledge on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing
- Experience of budget management
