Role Overview
As a Property Valuer/Branch Manager, you'll play a vital role in generating new business and maintaining the high standards Holdens is known for. You'll be responsible for valuing properties, creating effective marketing strategies, and guiding clients through the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market appraisals and secure new business.
Follow up promptly after valuations to convert leads into instructions.
Ensure all properties are marketed effectively across major portals and social media platforms.
Managing staff, driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service.
Motivate and lead a high performing team.
Maximize property exposure and generate strong buyer interest.
Understand vendor needs and suggest improvements to enhance property appeal.
Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the sales process.
Manage office enquiries, book valuations, and conduct property viewings.
Upload property listings, write descriptions, create brochures, and manage window displays.
Register buyer details and match them to suitable properties.
Monitor the local property market and identify new opportunities.
Conduct accompanied viewings and provide feedback.
Negotiate offers between vendors and buyers to secure successful sales.
Provide regular updates to clients throughout the sales journey.
Liaise with solicitors, surveyors, and mortgage brokers.
Help generate repeat business and referrals.
Perform general office duties as needed.
Ideal Candidate
Minimum 12 months' experience as a property valuer.
Proven track record of strong conversion rates.
Friendly, approachable, and a confident communicator.
Team player with a professional, can-do attitude.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Exceptional negotiation, organisation, and time-management skills.
High standard of written and verbal communication.
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Smart, well-presented, and detail-oriented.
Strong IT skills and good phone manner.
Holds a full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Loyal, honest, and transparent in all interactions.
Business development skills to grow the branch's market share

Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
Alternate Saturdays: 10:00am - 4:00pm (with a day off during the week)
Salary
30,000 - 40,000 - discussed at interview
