As a

Valve Specialist (m/w/d)

, you ensure the operational reliability of safety-related valves and components such as pumps, tanks, and compressors. You inspect and assess valve systems, lead inspections and acceptance activities, and prepare clear work instructions for disassembly and welding activities. Working closely with quality teams, suppliers, and project stakeholders, you ensure compliant, safe, and standards-based implementation within an active project environment.

YOUR TASKS




Technical evaluation and optimisation of the selection, specification, and installation of safety-related valves and components Technical project support in specifications, procurement, quality assurance and supplier evaluations Review of manuals and drawings to identify and assess different valve types Definition and execution of inspection steps, particularly during hydrotests as well as testing and acceptance activities Preparation of clear disassembly and work instructions for valve components, especially for welding activities Ensuring compliance with nuclear regulations as well as relevant codes and standards, including technical documentation and reporting

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS




Completed technical degree, technical apprenticeship, or comparable qualification Several years of experience in valve engineering, ideally in a nuclear environment or within power plant / large-scale industrial construction Hands-on experience in inspection, installation, and operation of safety-related valve systems, including related QA / inspection processes Strong knowledge of standards and codes (ASME, API, ISO) and a solid understanding of nuclear safety and compliance requirements Strong analytical skills, structured working approach, and high attention to detail, particularly in failure analysis and documentation Fluent English and confident communication skills in multidisciplinary teams
