Van Delivery Driver
Job Description
Our client within the agriculture industry are seeking a delivery driver to help maintain clients in the Southern area of the UK. You will play a pivotal part in providing a high level of customer service and safe delivery of crop feed and solutions farmers.This role is seasonal work with long days on the Spring to Summer (10-12hrs) and shorter days in Autumn to Winter (4-6hrs).Salary: xc2xa327,000 to xc2xa328,000Hours: Monday to FridayLocation: Farleigh WallopBenefits: Company uniform, Holiday Pay, Pension, ongoing Training with the opportunity to progress within the businessThe main day to day responsibilities;
- Managing goods in.
- Stock control and rotation.
- Picking orders for deliveries and loading the van.
- Planning the most efficient route, having some basic IT skills with good knowledge the Southern counties.
- Ensuring the van is clean, inside and out ready for the day ahead.
- Driving a 3.5t Van.
- Delivering goods to customer sites throughout Southern England (up to 15 drops a day).
- Making sure every customer you meet has an extra-ordinary experience.
- Excellent customer service/people skills.
- Able to lift loads up to 25kgs
- Confident driving vans.
- "Can do attitude" with a friendly, approachable personality.
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Experience of agriculture or a similar industry.
- Proven ability to solve problems
