Responsibilities

Operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations efficiently and safely. Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload goods, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring all items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transit. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any concerns. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and stock organisation.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is an advantage. Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial, particularly in handling logistics and inventory management. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
