Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving and a understanding of delivery operations. This role involves transporting linen & towels to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of service. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to carry linen hampers bags as required.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods. Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries to customers. Communicate effectively with laundry staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Assist in laundry operations as needed, including inventory management and organisation.

Requirements

Proven delivery driver experience. Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to carry hamper bags A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type being operated. A good understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in driving.
