Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team for long distance The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various locations. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

Safely operate a van to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Load and unload items, ensuring that all goods are secured properly during transit. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the van is in good working condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist with warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Requirements

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
