Van Driver - Part time (Glasgow South)

We are a fast paced architectural ironmongers, supplying wet wall panels & guttering to the building trade. We are looking to add a van driver to our team.

Duties include, but not limited to:

- Safely operate company van to transport goods to customers efficiently
- Manual loading and unloading of wall panels & guttering products
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance & checks of the van

Attributes

:
- Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures

As a van driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting material to their designated locations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining customer satisfaction. If you have experience in commercial driving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks, we would love to hear from you.

Please note that this position will require heavy lifting and adherence to all traffic laws and regulations. A valid clean driving license held for at least two years is required. Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role is preferred, along with familiarity with warehouse operations.
