Location Thurrock (relocating to Barking within the next 12 months)


Working Hours Monday to Friday 07:00 to 17:00


Holiday 22 days annual leave + Bank Holidays


Salary 30k per annum

Requirements

Key responsibilities

Delivery and collection of goods safely and efficiently to our job sites Load and unload vehicles, ensuring that loads are secure at all times Follow scheduled instructions and routes, and meet delivery times Adhere to all site instructions and PPE requirements - safety is paramount Maintain vehicle cleanliness and carry our vehicle checks Provide excellent customer service at all times


Experience & skills required


Essential

Full UK driving licence (clean preferred) Good driving skills and road awareness Punctual, trustworthy, and self motivated Basic physical fitness (lifting may/will be required) Previous delivery experience to operational building sites is a bonus Experience in multi-drop deliveries Good understanding of English (verbal and written) Strong organisational and multitasking skills Ability to follow instructions Excellent communication skills Ability to work effectively within a team, independently and under pressure


Desired

Understanding of the construction industry Knowledge of construction industry tools Knowledge of logistic operations Knowledge/understanding of Drivers' Hours Rules and WTD Knowledge of London and surrounding boroughs Knowledge of FORS requirements
