Job Overview

We are seeking reliable and dedicated Delivery Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, ensuring that deliveries are made on time while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

Duties

Operate a van to deliver goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring safe handling of all products. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or Van Driver is preferred, full training will be given. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous. Valid commercial driving licence is required. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Based in Haydock delivering in various locations, set routes given. 80% business to business.

120 per day payment on a self employed basis ( you will be responsible for paying your own tax and national insurance) ?100 per day whilst training Between 60-100 stops per day Monday to Friday Full Time Weekly pay ?Van supplied - fuel and insurance included ?Van can be taken home each day to use for commuting to and from work.
