Job Description

Willtrans is seeking a reliable and flexible driver to carry out nationwide deliveries of various goods using vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. No special licence is required.

The role involves:

Driving across the country delivering a wide range of goods Operating vehicles of different sizes (up to 3.5T) Flexibility with working days and early morning starts to meet customer requirements
In addition to delivery work, the successful applicant will undergo training at our Coningsby site. This training involves working as part of a team, delivering goods around the entire site using a 3.5T box van.

Once training is completed, the driver will be responsible for both nationwide deliveries and regular duties at the Coningsby site.

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods from different sites
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with office staff to ensure accurate and complete orders
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering products in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a driver or in a similar role
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skill

Pay: 12.21 per hour
