Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. This role involves operating vehicles and handling logistics to ensure the efficient delivery of goods, they will also need to load and unload and package of goods.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for those with a background in warehouse operations or delivery driving to utilise their skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Safely operate vehicles, including delivery vans or lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely arrival at designated locations Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles Valid UK driver's licence with a clean driving record Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Good organisational skills with the ability to plan routes and manage time effectively Physical fitness to handle manual tasks throughout the shift Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including early mornings

The job requires early start and early finish, the job hours are roughly

Monday - 4am - 9am (5 hrs)

Tue - 6am - 8am (2 hrs)

Wed - 4am - 8am (4 hrs)

Thurs - 6am - 12pm (6 hrs)

Fri - 4am - 9am (5 Hrs)

Normally you will finish earlier due to traffic, this is ideal for those that want to get up early get the work done and then get on with the rest of their day.

The delivery drops will be the same locations every week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 300.00 per week

Expected hours: 18 - 22 per week
