Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in delivery driving and warehouse operations, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting. This role is essential in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

Safely operate a vehicle to deliver goods to various locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and storage. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and in the warehouse. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance. Assist with warehouse duties as required, including stock management and organisation.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential, preferably with a focus on driving. Background in commercial driving or similar roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including stock handling and logistics, is advantageous. Proven ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues alike.
