The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in delivery driving and warehouse operations, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting. This role is essential for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of service .
Responsibilities
Safely operate a vehicle ( Transit Van) to deliver goods to designated locations.
Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any discrepancies encountered.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Requirements
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
Valid PERSON driving licence with a clean driving record.
Experience in commercial driving is advantageous.
Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 25 kg as required by the role.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
