Job Description

ON-DEMAND PEOPLE are actively recruiting Van Delivery Drivers to support our well-respected customer with transporting of lifting equipment and tools, and machinery to and from customer locations or construction sites, loading and unloading the vehicle in accordance with safety standards.

Key Skills & Duties

- Operating commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes

- Driving long and short distances

- Planning delivery schedules and routes with transport

- Load, deliver and collect hire equipment from customer sites in a timely and professional manner

- Ensure all relevant checks and administration involved for the hire are completed accurately

- Making sure loads are safely secured in line with the Safe System of Work

- Completing delivery paperwork

- Undertaking regular vehicle checks before commencing any journey

- Carrying out basic vehicle maintenance

- Driving in accordance with driving legislation

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous Experience working within a driving role delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites

- Driving License

Rate of pay:

14/hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)
