We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual. This role involves a combination of driving and warehouse responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery and efficient handling of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all road regulations. Manage the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries to various locations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication regarding stock levels.
Experience
Previous experience as a delivery driver is desired but not essential, Over 21 with a valid UK driving licence over 2 years with less than 6 points (for insurance purposes) Experience in commercial driving or similar roles is advantageous. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and clients.
