Role: Van Driver (3.5T) / Trainee Depot Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and reliable van driver who will initially handle collections from our clients but will quickly progress to take on increased managerial responsibilities. This is an exciting opportunity to

About You

You will be a proactive individual, committed to exceptional customer service and eager to advance into a leadership role. You must have strong organisational skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.

Role Requirements

Full UK driving license Minimum of 3 years consistent van driving experience Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills Considerate and professional driver, attentive on customer sites Strong "can-do" attitude and commitment to high standards Capable of working independently and collaboratively
Role Responsibilities Initially:

Conducting multiple pre-routed waste collections Delivering stock items to customers Performing vehicle checks and completing required paperwork Maintaining accurate and organised collection paperwork
Progressing to:

Managing stock control and depot inventory Coordinating staff holiday schedules and team rotas Planning and optimising collection routes Enhancing customer service standards and addressing customer queries Attending monthly performance meetings with the Service Manager Assisting in recruitment, onboarding, and training new team members Ensuring depot compliance with company policies and safety regulations
