Refrigerated Courier Driver - Delivering Freshness!

LO Transport is a leading provider of a delivery service of fresh produce, pharmaceutical supplies, gourmet foods and we are currently seeking dedicated and professional Refrigerated Courier Drivers to join our growing team. As a Refrigerated Courier Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of temperature-sensitive goods to our valued customers across the UK. This is a crucial role that directly impacts the quality and integrity of our customers products.

Key Responsibilities:
Operating and maintaining a refrigerated vehicle to transport goods at specified temperatures. Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling and temperature control. Adhering to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and relevant transport laws Performing pre-shift vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly. Maintaining accurate delivery records and completing all necessary paperwork. Providing excellent customer service during deliveries. Communicating effectively with the transport team regarding delivery progress and any issues. Ensuring the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle.
What We're Looking For:
A valid UK driving licence. Proven experience as a courier or delivery driver, ideally with experience operating refrigerated vehicles. A strong understanding of temperature control and food safety regulations. Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK. Ability to lift and move heavy items safely. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, and highly organised. A professional and customer-focused attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
