Overview

We are seeking a reliable and Exprerianced Van Driver to join our team.

Regular Early starts late starts

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a van for the delivery of goods to various locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Perform basic mechanical checks on the vehicle as needed.

Skills

Proven experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver, with a valid commercial driving licence. Strong mechanical knowledge to identify minor vehicle issues. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients. Capability to drive various types of vehicles, including Luton Curtainside vans when required. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail for maintaining delivery records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
