Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced to join our team as a Delivery Driver. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication abilities. This role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries across various locations. Candidates with experience and familiarity with xlwb vans & Luton Curtain Side transportation are highly desirable. Professionalism, and customer service are paramount.

Duties

Operate commercial vehicles, including Luton Curtain Side & Tail lift, in compliance with all road safety regulations. Deliver goods to clients efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery documentation. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic mechanical checks to ensure vehicle safety and functionality. Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly for transit. Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle to uphold safety standards. Follow all health and safety protocols during daily operations.

Qualifications

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver, preferably with Luton & xlwb vehicles. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients. Ability to operate tail lift safely and efficiently. Good organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation. Physical fitness to load/unload cargo and perform routine vehicle inspections.
