Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Van driver to join our team in helping with our local deliveries. If probation is successful, we want somebody who has an interest in driving 7.5T lorries, which we will help you to get your licence for.
- Load the vehicles for the next round of delivery runs, ensuring the appropriate vehicles are used dependent on weight and bulk of the total dispatch.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage
- Operate forklifts for moving stock within the warehouse
- Load and unload lorries with precision
-Occasional Van driving
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical duties throughout the day
- Attention to detail
- Valid forklift licence is desirable
- Strong organisational skills to manage stock efficiently
-Clean driving licence
