Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier Driver to join our team, based at our Crawley depot.

The candidate must provide his own 3.5t van for this job. Minimum size requirement for this role is

Medium wheel base to Long wheel base.

This is a on going contract and it is 7days operational. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting and delivering to various locations in a timely manner. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members and warehouse staff.

Duties

Operate a 3.5t van medium to long wheel base or similar vehicle to deliver and collect packages from designated locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods, including heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times and locations. Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and your point of contact regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Skills

Proven experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred but not essential as training will be given on the job. Strong commercial driving skills with a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
