Job Overview

We are looking for drivers that are able to drive a van or a heavy goods vehicle (HGV). Please specify if you have your own van or vehicle or if you require one.

Duties

Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with regulations Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during every trip Assist with heavy lifting when loading or unloading cargo or luggage to ensure secure handling Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records Communicate clearly with dispatchers, passengers, and team members to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, shuttle operator, or limousine driver with a strong safety record Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for commercial vehicles) with clean driving history Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations related to commercial driving and passenger transport Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical tasks associated with loading or unloading cargo Basic vehicle maintenance skills to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety Experience in paratransit services or school bus driving is a plus but not required Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 7 days

Pay: 13.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 40 per week
