Van Driver (delivery/waste Collection)
Job Description
Any 4 days Monday to Friday, no weekends
Fixed rotating rota with same days of the week worked each month
Additional days sometimes available and allocated through monthly rota
Early and variable start times (generally around 5am)
Typical finish early/mid afternoon
Overtime paid if 10hrs exceeded
Discretionary 15% performance bonus paid monthly
Vehicle provided
Workplace pension
28 days pro-rata holiday (inc. bank holidays), increasing by 1 additional day per year for every year with the company up to a maximum of 33 days (inc. bank Holiday)
Ideal start early/mid July but can be flexible for the right candidates
Responsibilities
Checking vehicle Load products as per delivery notes Visit customer premises to deliver product and perform specialist waste collection services, completing all relevant paperwork and providing excellent customer service Unload vehicle at specialist waste facilities as required Adhere to all traffic laws, waste legislation and company policies while driving Assist in warehouse/yard/driving duties as and when required Scan paperwork

In the role of a Delivery/Waste Collection Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and waste materials while ensuring timely deliveries. This position requires core driving skills, with no prior experience necessary, making it accessible for enthusiastic candidates. Your premium skills in delivery driving and commercial driving will be valuable assets, while relevant skills such as warehouse experience, heavy lifting, and effective communication with excellent customer service will enhance your performance.
