Carry out collections and deliveries in a professional manner to all customers Keep an accurate record of deliveries and collections using appropriate documentation provided by the Company Drive the Company's vehicles responsibly and safely; being aware and adhering to all driving legislation Daily checks on the vehicle to be carried out ensuring any defects found are reported to the Transport Manager Daily equipment checks to be carried out and any lost or defective equipment found to be reported to the Transport Manager Ensure all vehicles are loaded and unloaded safely at our works and when collecting from other companies. Represent the Company and its values to ensure a professional and business-like image is portrayed to all customers, potential customers and other people you meet in the course of your work at all times Carry out other tasks and duties as required This is a demanding, but rewarding, role involving manual handling and multi-drop deliveries. This role will also include warehouse duties when required. Handling of long products (around 6 mtrs) desirable but not essential You should therefore be confident driving to different locations throughout the UK and in different vehicle. Hours would be Monday to Friday 40 hours a week plus overtime if needed. Start and finish times may vary due to driving commitments.

Essential:

No more than 6 points on licence Experience of using ratchet straps

Desirable:

Located near to Manchester Good knowledge of the UK highways
