Responsibilities

Operate a flatbed vehicle to deliver goods to various locations safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transport. Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any issues or delays. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely processing of deliveries and returns. Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies while on the road.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence with experience in driving flatbed vehicles. Proven delivery driver experience, preferably within a warehouse or logistics environment. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the vehicle when necessary. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
