Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Van driver / furniture Porter. Based in Diss working on Local and National household removals.

Previous experience is desirable but full training would be given in all aspects i.e. packing, export wrapping, vehicle loading and unloading.

Starting from out depot in Diss, you would need your own means of transport to get to and from our depot as start times are varied with occasional nights away.

Applicants must be able to work as part of a team, be trustworthy with a tidy appearance, have the ability to conduct themselves in a polite and respectful manor and have a good level of fitness.

Responsibilities

Daily walk round vehicle checks Safely loading and unloading vehicles ensuring proper securing of goods while in transit Packing of clients possessions into cartons Export wrapping of furniture Basic dismantling and reassembly of furniture listing, loading and sealing crates and containers for export Communicate effectively with clients regarding schedules and any issues Assist in warehouse activities as needed Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies during operations

Requirements

Valid Full driver's licence with a clean driving record Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients Ability to work as part of a team and independently, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability Prior Removal industry experience and driving a delivery vehicle is advantageous
This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a hands-on position within the household Removal industry. Applicants should be organised, safety-conscious, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 - 60 per week
