Join the Hansons Auctioneers Transport Team!

Hansons Auctioneers is seeking a reliable and motivated

Van Driver

to support our busy Haulage Department at our Head Office in Etwall, Derbyshire.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of antiques and auction items across the UK. This is a key front-facing position where you'll represent the business on the road, ensuring clients receive their treasured items with the highest level of care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Safely collect and deliver items to/from clients, salerooms, and storage locations Handle, load, and secure delicate and high-value items with precision and care Travel nationwide, maintaining schedules and supporting auction logistics Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and liaise with internal teams Support the team with packing and loading duties when required

What We're Looking For

Full UK driving licence Experience driving vans commercially (preferred but not essential) Professional, friendly manner with strong attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Confident handling fragile and valuable items Physically able to lift and move items as part of daily duties
