Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving and delivery, with the ability to operate vans. This role requires effective communication skills and mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth operations within our warehouse environment.
Duties
Safely operate Vans for the transportation of goods to various locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials during transit. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Experience
Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed vehicles. Commercial driving licence is essential. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively. Mechanical knowledge is a plus, enabling the candidate to handle minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
