We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service. Experience with flatbed lorries is preferred, as you will be handling diverse loads.

Duties

Operate a flatbed lorry to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns from clients.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous. Familiarity with flatbed lorries and the ability to handle various types of cargo safely. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in maintaining delivery records. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
