Job Description

WARD are looking for a motivated Van Driver to join our busy textiles team at WARDrobe.

The role includes receiving, checking, and packing goods into a long wheel based tail lift/ low loader Luton Van or at the unloading destination. Attention to detail is a key part of the role, ensuring stock is stored correctly, and the correct process is followed.

This is a physically demanding role as you will be required to load and unload the Van at various destinations. .

Key Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of being a Van Driver include:

- Loading and unloading the van

- Driving to various locations safely and in a timely manner

- Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor with stock management

- Preparing stock for loading

- Additional duties as directed by your Line Manager

Skills and Knowledge Required:

- Clean Driving Licence

- Excellent personal approach to work

- Ability to multi-task

- Excellent time keeping

- Physically fit and ability to use correct manual handling techniques

- Conscientious and quality focused

- Good communication skills

- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
