Anglo Recycling Company Ltd is looking for a

VAN Driver to join our team in the

Liss, Hampshire area

!

Anglo Doorstep Collections is a UK based company, that makes regular, free, collections of unwanted clothing and household items, direct from our customers' homes.

We only collect from customers who have booked with us, so that we can operate more efficiently and so our customers can organise and plan their donation in the most hassle-free way possible.

Once the booking is made, our customers simply put their items into boxes or bags and leave them outside their homes at the allotted time and date.

We collect items such as clothes, shoes, books, DVDs, bric-a-brac, towels, linin, small electronics, crockery and cutlery.

Items are then sorted at our warehouse and shipped to countries that need them the most.

Although based in Liss we operate in most of the UK. The route each day will start from the driver's home and end at our warehouse in Liss. In this time the route could be anywhere from Gloucester to Kent.

Responsibilities:

Driving safely follow the route given to you making your stops and then returning to the warehouse. Make contact with the customer if you need to in order to complete the collection. Where possible check that the items you are collecting are items we do collect and that they are not broken. Photograph what you collect and log this in the app. After returning to the warehouse work together to get all the vans unloaded. Be friendly and polite to all customers.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with excellent driving record; no suspension or revocations No more than three points Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle with manual transmission Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Experience:

Delivery/collection driver experience: 1 year (preferred) Driving: 3 years (required)
