Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a warehouse environment.TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED ON DPF CLEANING MACHINE

Responsibilities

Safely operate a van to deliver goods to designated locations. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of all products. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with warehouse staff regarding schedules and any issues that may arise. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Skills

Proven experience as a Van Driver or in a similar delivery role. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the vehicle when necessary. Familiarity with flatbed driving is an advantage. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. Ability to work well under pressure and manage time efficiently. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is desirable but not essential.

Pay: 12.85-13.00 per hour
