Job Description
About the Job:
We're looking for a reliable van driver to help deliver food to schools and hospitality venues across the area. You'll be out on the road Monday to Saturday, making sure deliveries arrive on time and in good condition. Some of the items are temperature-sensitive, so you'll need to keep an eye on that and record temperatures during your route.
What You'll Be Doing:
Driving a company van to deliver food to schools, cafes, restaurants, and other hospitality spots. Loading and unloading the van - some lifting involved. Recording temperatures of chilled and frozen goods. Keeping delivery notes and logs up to date. Making sure the van is clean and roadworthy. Being friendly and helpful with customers.
What We're Looking For:
A full UK driving licence with a clean record. Someone reliable, punctual, and polite. Able to lift and move boxes safely. Comfortable using a temperature probe and keeping basic records. Good local knowledge is a bonus.
