Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced individual to fulfil the role of a van driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating commercial vehicles, primarily a Tipper van to transport and move materials for our client. Candidate MUST have CSCS card. A criminal record background check (CRB) will also be done. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those with a background in driving or delivery services to utilise their skills within a dynamic environment. The role requires strong communication skills and mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Safely operate Tipper van and other commercial vehicles for service if needed Load and unload goods at various locations, ensuring proper handling and securing of equipment. Plan and follow instructions given by customer. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including driving regulations and load securing procedures.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed vehicles. Previous driving experience is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills for liaising with team members and clients effectively. Valid full driver's licence or equivalent certification required.
