The Role:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our team. In this role, you will follow a designated route, visiting textile banks, emptying, bagging (where necessary) and weighing the contents, securing the banks, and moving on to the next location. This is a physically demanding role, our routes are designed to ensure each van returns full.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive a company van safely and efficiently along a designated route.
Visit all textile banks on your route.
Weigh textiles and record accurate data.
Ensure banks are properly secured and ensure site is clean and tidy before leaving.
Maintain the van and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Unload all collected textiles into cages upon your return to the warehouse.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence.
At least 1 year of van driving experience.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Physically fit
Ability to pass a DBS check (required due to some textile bank locations).
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
